Sunday, June 9, 2013 - This cali cab is pure class. Really closed upon opening, but was nicely expressive after a couple hours in the glass. Quite structured with prominent but polished tannins. Black currant and blackberry liqueur flavor profile, with a vibrant and expressive mid palate. Finish adds a hint of mint, loam, cocoa, and repeating slightly sweet fruit profile. An elegant, balanced, and powerful Cali cab that is purely rooted in Napa. Very concentrated and structured, needing several more years.
