Wednesday, February 13, 2013 - Bought at release and appropriately cellared. 1/16" stain on the cork. It needed a half hour for the aromas to unfold and another half hour for the flavors to develop. High toned boysenberry, black raspberry flavors. Nice underlying herbaceousness with hints of anise. Atractive funk; saddle leather, pipe tobacco. Grenache dominates. Great balance. Drinking near peak but should keep this level of fruit for 5+ years and develop interesting flavors beyond that.
