Monday, August 6, 2012 - Casual Wines Session on Monday night (Extra Space, Boon Keng): Dark core with garnet hue. For a 36 yrs old wines it is still quite youthful on appearance. The nose is dominance by graphite, along with deried fruits, pencil lead, mineral and chalk. Again there is plenty of graphite on palate, with other secondary flavours like pencil lead, earth and dried fruits. Still vibrant acidity , soft chewy tannins and end with medium+ finish.
