Tuesday, June 23, 2015 - I gave this bottle the 'full treatment'. Decanted at 7am, cleaned out the bottle, back in the bottle and corked at 7:30am. Opened and again decanted at 6:30pm, consumed at 7:30pm.
This is really good grand cru Burgundy. Just a little bit of the bright cherry sweetness, a little earthiness. Good length. Nothing monolithic or clunky in here. It will go for a long time, maybe better in 5-10-20 years, and I'll save a few bottles to look. But with a good decant, ready to enjoy right now.
