Thursday, February 19, 2015 - Half bottle. Purchased in Burgundy in 2011. Excellent white vintage, the 2008. Lemon veering towards gold color. Nose needs coaxing, but with air yields subtle pear, just ripe white peach, hay field, light touch of oak derivation (light vanilla), and green and red apple aromas. High acidity, balanced with creamy texture. Bright with more green and red apple but even more pronounced lime and lemon peel flavors. Complex. Full bodied and fresh with a lingering long finish. Evolution in full bottle must be slower by comparison, but this was quite delicious shared among three for dinner and ... gone quite quickly. Should have bought more of this!
