Likes this wine:

Friday, January 18, 2013 - pnp. tons of oak spice on the nose, but i like that, so it worked for me. tannin poking out, and even though i'm not savvy enough to distinguish fruit tannin from wood tannin, i would suspect wood tannin based on the pronounced oak on the nose. plenty of gooey black fruits on the palate and finish, with more vanilla and caramel stuff going through the finish. i really liked it, but as more of a cocktail/crowd-pleaser than a thinking man's wine. 90-92, with another 5 years of great drinking left.
