91 Points

Sunday, January 31, 2010 - Last of a case consumed over the previous 8 years. Cellared in temp control, fully mature, refined tannins, brown edges opened and poured. Tar and lead on the lead nose right out of the bottle with a bit of a bitter finish but, disappears after 15 minutes. Full rich flavor of refined fruit, deep and strong on the finish. Totally enjoyable but, fading a little in comparison to previous bottles and after an hour and a half fading slowly.
