Friday, July 18, 2014 - Nose is cigar tobacco, leather, black currant, and just a hint of herbs and green chili. On the palate it is very similar, with the addition of touches of vanilla and a floral note. Lively acids are not so overpowering that you cannot enjoy simply sipping, but make this wine a very food friendly juice. Decent length finish brings out just a hint of copper. Overall, an enjoyable wine.
