Thursday, October 2, 2014 - A focus on Nuits-Saint-Georges (Aquitaine, Chicago IL): Nose: This showed a more intense side with dark red cherries, licorice, violets, cranberries, and some oak tones. This isn't necessarily overdone, but it is far from bashful.
Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium acidity and some wood tannins. The feel is larger with dark red cherries, licorice, cranberries, and some oak tones.
Overall: This showed off as more intense and lacked the rustic quality I want from an NSG.
