Wednesday, March 13, 2013 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #077; Round the Corton hill in Burgundy (By BD): The bouquet is very special and different, more sweet, than you would expect from a Burgundy wine. On the palate in fact the same. Remarkably much sweetness, mild acidity and soft tannin, which still shows some future, To be honest; I don't know what to think. Definitely a very pleasant wine, but tasted completely blind beside some other (and a bit cheaper) Burgundy wines it did not show much extra, but certainly something different.
