Saturday, March 1, 2014 - Hot vintage..heavy terroir.....this should be a poor combination but this really struts its stuff very well right now - takes some time to open up, but after 2 hours there is a nice balance of power and density. Very clean and pure on the palate with no heaviness. Classic Pommard, with a broody darkness about it lurking underneath the surface. Good stuff. Drinking or hold.
