Sunday, January 19, 2014 - Deep ruby color with slight signs of bricking. Lots of secondary aromas on the nose like applewood, bacon fat, mushrooms, leather along with some black cherry. Palate is medium bodied and fairly seamless. Lots of tart cherry and leather. High acidity. Well done. This seems to be just past it's peak, but we are drinking this from a half bottle. 750mls should have a few years left.
