94 Points

Sunday, June 29, 2014 - From a pristine bottle with essentially no ullage, this bottle had a medium yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose featured lemon, custard, apple, white stone, and a hint of honey.

As expected this wine needed several hours to blossom. It was rich and ripe in the mouth with great acidity and length.

This wine was at, or very close to, Grand Cru quality. While it is drinking now, it will certainly last for 5+ years in this outstanding condition.
