Friday, April 5, 2013 - Mmm.!
Lovely mature nose, with French stable, ammonium, licorice, smoke and game.
Some glue on the nose, that fooled me.
Served blind, three out of three had this as an old Barolo.
Very soft & good fruit, with no tannins remaining.
Still, really good wine, with a good long finish and a good match to the steak tartar tonight.
Still very much alive.
Looks older in the glass.
