Monday, July 9, 2012 - Salmon color. At first this was a little funky and dull on the nose while the palate had tremendous strength and concentration. With time the nose came around with notes of blood orange, wild strawberry and pastry. While the nose was nice, the palate was incredible. Such incredible concentration, persistence, and length. Truly a world class wine. Had the nose been slightly better, it would have been perfect.
