Monday, October 11, 2010 - Nose: Pear, bread, lime, and a hint of stone. Taste: Notably oily mouthfeel; weighty. Intense anise and herbal flavors. Long finish. Bone dry. It's well made, but I don't really love the flavor profile. Unlike most wines, the flavor does not vary... its constant and intense from approach to finish. I feel like it could use some more acid or minerality. No score for me... I don't like the style, but it is well made and I can see some people loving this.
