Thursday, January 31, 2013 - WCC Rioja Blind (Dorato's Resturant, Guilderland, NY): [Double decanted around 4pm with 30 minutes of air. Served around 8:30.] Black fruit. Sweet and tasty. Not showing much complexity tonight, but appealing wine.

    4/2/2013 6:46:00 AM - Your notes were of particular interest to me. Thanks for posting them. I am a big fan of Rioja in 2001 and have 17 different bottlings in 15 cases including all of the ones you tasted.
    Let me know if you decide to extend the event with some of the ones I have. We live near Brattleboro, VT so it is a short trip to the Albany area.
