Wednesday, December 17, 2008 - Unlike any other vintage of Charvin CdP I've ever had. Rather than subtle and elegant, this one's a brute (albeit a beautiful brute). Very intense nose of ripe dark berries and intense garrigue, spice and lavender. Earthy dense palate with long finish. Never would have guessed Charvin in a blind tasting.
