Saturday, June 15, 2013 - Smoke, leather and a mineral notes on the nose. Full bodied and starts out as bright raspberry, softening to cherry, then adds in a bit of sour cherry before finishing on a note of creamy vanilla. The complexity and depth of fruit is outstanding. Finish is quite long, but very fine grained. Excellent balance between fruit and tannins. This wine has the structure to last many more years. Overall, an outstanding bottle.
