Tuesday, March 22, 2011 - Notes from day 2.
Dark red in color.
Nose of various red berries, a little fall leaves, and a little spice.
Palate of red raspberries, a little cranberry, pomegranite going on, with a little earth, and baking spices.
The finish was average in length and there was a good amount of acid present that was a pleasant suprise.
Overall a decent OR pinot for a warmer vintage, won't be running out to buy more at the tariff, but could do much worse IMO.
