On the nose, loads of apple with secondary aromas of hazelnut, mango, yeast, and nutmeg; just a lovely, sexy nose. On the palate, a beautiful balance of acidity, fruit, effervescence, bread, with bits of spice and mineral complexity coming in and out with each sip. I don't have a great deal of experience with champagne, but this was quite clearly head-and-shoulders above any other champagne I've had to date. Really nice, and the WOTN for me.
