Saturday, April 2, 2011 - Ruby coloured but with brick tendencies. Nice long aftertaste, but the wine showed a distinct lack of character on the palate. We couldn't really pick out any true distinct characteristics of the involved grapes in this blend (Shiraz, Cab, Merlot) - some peppers, a rustic tannic polish, and lots of cherries. It was quite nice, however and didn't disappoint. There was no pretension - a decent and servicable, and very affordable red blend.
