It is very close to being past its best - at least that has been the case for the last couple of bottles. To begin with it seems to be lacking body in as much as it doesn't seem to be'together'. After about an hour or so, it starts to resolve and all the elements come together to show it as it should be - almost. This is not a big body, full mouth wine at this point, more a beautiful fine old wine.
