Thursday, July 28, 2016 - Although this is lacking in fruit at mid-palate and in the finish, this is still a solid offering. Age has shined a spotlight on the toasty mineral elements, and it has deepened the golden color in the glass. It's a beautiful wine to look at in the glass. Gooseberry, marzipan, peach and apricot nectar. Some antique oak elements in the bouquet and the finish. Mom would have loved this one. (����= Worth Seeking Out)
