Saturday, April 26, 2014 - Decanted and consumed over 4.5 hours. Modest blue aromas upon decanting, violets, lavender, herbal aromas grow through the drinking window. Medium weight - very modest viscosity, smooth mouthfeel with a velvety coating but no granular tanins. Cherries, blueberry, boysenberry flavors dominate in a package that's extremely approachable and enjoyable. As others note, a top qpr year after year.
