Sunday, February 10, 2013 - I pulled the wine from the cooler at 55 degrees and did a pop and pour. The aroma was full of dark fruit but the flavor was muted. As the wine breathed, it blossomed into a great wine full of fruit and an undercurrent of earth. Well-balanced fruit and spice with a touch of barnyard. An excellent wine representing the power of Howell Mountain.
