Thursday, November 23, 2006 - Not decanted. Brambly dark fruit and peppery spice on the nose. Nice but not interesting. Somewhat 'disjointed' palate - all components present, just not in harmony. The finish showed better focus, so I'm hoping a couple of years will improve this wine or (note to self) start decanting all Cali syrahs.
