Thursday, December 2, 2010 - Deep ruby still. Beautiful nose of stony fruits, bitter chocolate, black olives, and well integrated wood. Luscious, viscous, vey not heavy mouthfeel. Rich and deep, but with good focus. More dark chocolate, stony fruits, and olives/ rare meat. An excellent mix of fruit and savory. Excellent balance. Quite long, with plenty of structure and tannins to give this another 5 years at this peak. Outstanding stuff. 92 pts.
