Sunday, December 27, 2015 - Coravined half a magnum, aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for two hours. Aromatic nose of currant, wild berries, cocoa and dried herbs. A soft black and red fruit core with chocolate, graphite and mineral notes with a hint of green pepper. Leads to a medium to long, dry finish. Medium to full bodied. Very pretty, mature Cali-cab. Plan to finish the remainder of the magnum in 2016. Paired with roast beef.
