Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - Consumed at a restaurant in Beaune. Deep luminous ruby, what a gorgeous colour - lovely density to the rim. It is astonishing to me that this is already approachable but the dark ripe fruits on the nose are rounded and silky and on the palate the fruit is already open and expressive. Wonderful and a huge treat. Has the balance to mature a long time if you prefer to hold it.
