Saturday, October 20, 2012 - 2nd day notes (overnight under Private Reserve intert gas). Dense purple ruby color, medium bodied. Smoky aromas of black olive, dark fruit, lavender and black tea. Ripe and balanced blue and black fruit flavors with an attractive gliding feel through the mid-palate and finish. Savory mineral and floral highlights throughout- very nicely integrated. Fine grippy tannin and acid with a lingering finish (30+ seconds). Excellent balance and vibrancy- should continue to hold and drink well.
