2007 Peter Michael Les Pavots

Likes this wine:

Saturday, May 16, 2015 - 4 hour decant, consumed over 4 hours. gorgeous nose of sweet cassis, some red currant, a little warm vanilla, and blackberry. big voluptuous aromatics suggest a massive wine. but there is an amazingly deft balance here. such silky, elegant textures. a finish that gently rolls around and unfolds, all about plush dark fruits that the nose suggested. this was fantastic, I'm not sure for my palate I see the value, but probably would if I was more into Bordeaux blends. if scoring, 95-96. lots of life left, but drinking nicely for those who prefer primaries.
