Wednesday, October 31, 2012 - As expected with Pegau, some barnyard on the nose with smoke, meat and dark fruit. Nice mouthful of ripe dark fruit balanced with good acidity and a long pleasing finish where the tannins assert themselves but they are smooth and rounded, and for me, enhance the overall package. Nice wine that is really good now, but has the structure to last a while.
