Saturday, January 18, 2014 - Funky in a good way. It took a while to accept the horsey, animal fur quality of this wine. Interesting blood, iodine, raw meat notes. Good acidity and crispness. Not especially deep or age worthy, but this offers enjoyment with a good amount of intellectual appeal. For the closeout price of about $28, this was a great deal.
