89 Points

Tuesday, April 10, 2012 - Clear straw colored with a bit of bite (for a white chard) upon opening the bottle. Initially, the strongest tastes were of Oak and lemongrass with a mineral aftertaste. Letting it breath a few minutes in the glass resulted in a smoother taste, more melon and nutmeg (?) flavors and a pleasant aftertaste. This wine, however, was excellent with seared rare Ahi with a white butter sauce and pickled white ginger.
