Saturday, May 23, 2015 - Unmistakably Santa Lucia Highlands PN, my second favorite PN region in CA behind Anderson Valley. Really bright nose loaded with fruits and flowers to start. In the mouth it has bright red fruits with mossy forest floor and burnt toast. If you prefer bright fruit forward style PN with little funky earth look to Santa Lucia if you like more Burgundy style look to Anderson Valley. Great valley areas and in most instance much better PN than Napa.
