Tasted March 24, 2005 at an offline so brief comments only. Opened and served immediately in Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glasses. Dark ruby in color, clear as a bell throughout. Nose of mint, tobacco, smoke, black berries and some chocolate thrown in for the ladies. Big, chewy and tannic palate on this youthful wine showing a little cherry, berries and mocha at the moment. Sorry we had to kill this baby before it had a chance to live. Do not open another one for at least 2-3 years. Recommended.
