Tuesday, January 8, 2013 - Dark ruby color with an ethereal nose of rich berry, Saint Emilion earth, saddle leather, and cocoa. The palate is very rich and multi-dimensional with flavors of strawberry, dark cherries, licorice, toasted oak, vanilla, mocha, clove, and sage. This is all captured in a silky texture that peaks in the mid-palate, then gradually tapers off into the long, mineral-filled horizon with earthy tannins that are just so engaging that a 10-year window of drinking pleasure is easily attainable. Drink now until 2023.
