Community Tasting Note

Wednesday, August 8, 2007 - Decanted and immediately tasted. Very deep color with no signs of fading. Nose shows cassis, leather, and a very slight note of bell pepper (not enough to detract). Palate is not very giving initially. Develops some nice sandalwood and spice aromas. Palate is rich, with firm acidity, but this wine is more nose than palate at the moment.
