Popped and poured, would be even better with a healthy decant. Nose was classic Bordeaux, graphite, lead, dusted cherry, black tea, earth, spice...
Incredibly elegant wine. Dark purple color. Layers of fruit and complexity matching the nose profiles above. Add to that eucalyptus, truffles, mushrooms, smoke, blackberry, plums. Big wine with a medium finish.
This is a spectacular Bordeaux, fully mature now. Would drink over next 5 years
