Friday, March 11, 2016 - We have always enjoyed Beychevelle wines and this bottle was no exception. On its 30th anniversary it is still full of fruit and flavor, with a mouth-watering taste and mouth-filling finish. We decanted the wine and let it breathe for about an hour before restoppering it and bringing to a restaurant where we shared it with friends. We all loved this wine. It was still great a couple of nights later when we drank what was left of the bottle -- and compared it with leftovers from a bottle of '86 La Lagune, which we had also opened a few days earlier. No comparison -- the Beychevelle blew the La Lagune away.
