Sunday, April 15, 2007 - Had on Easter Day. Very earthy, old world aromatics of black truffle, damp earth, cinnamon and clove spices with some ripe red cherries showing underneath. Palate wasn't quite as intense, but offered some nice red berry fruit, loads of earthiness, some toasty oak, finishing with great acidity. Not the best judge on red Burg, but I definitely liked this.
