Friday, February 12, 2016 - Fireworks in the glass! This wine has finally entered its prime drinking window. Fully mature nose very similar to its neighbor, La Tache, with tremendous Malconsorts weight. Lovely mature floral notes combined with classic Vosne spice on the nose. As good as a classic Malconsorts can be from an outstanding vintage which is evident in the ripeness and weight of the fruit. It's not La Tache but this bottle was close with La Tache being more complete in every facet. Still this bottle was absolutely stunning! Wow wine.
