Monday, October 10, 2011 - Blind Tasting 1978 - 1990 Ridge Zinfandels (Rich & Peggy's House, Los Altos, CA): Bricking, clear meniscus. Strange, musty nose, cherry cough syrup with a bit of v.a. Medium bodied with medium acidity. Leather and tannins with very little fruit, maybe a touch of cranberry. This bottle has dried up. (my 5th, group's 5th)
