Wednesday, June 24, 2015 - Classic in every way with rhubarb, cranberries, strawberries, pepper, string beans, and soil, this is another home run from Domaine Henri Gouges. Light on its feet with lots of little flavors, it exhibits a great complexity from the nose to the palate. There is a bit of hay note on the finish that grips onto the palate. This wine never loses its focus while being wildly complex.
This would be a great food wine. I wish I bought a case.
