Wednesday, December 25, 2013 - An odd presentation! Decanted 1.5 hrs and virtually no real initial attack on the palate, doesn't seem to come alive until the midpalate where it is stuffed with currants and dark fruit, leather, tea, and earth. Still noticeable but finely grained tannins. Wonderfully tasty with prime rib but an odd wine for sure. Natural cork.
