Tuesday, January 13, 2015 - Just starting to show secondary aromas and flavors. A mild sediment on decant. 2 hours air later and the wine is soft but expressive. Tannins have become incredibly silky textured. The fruit isn't as hot as earlier bottles and the oaky background has backed off. Drinking great now but has at least another couple years of improvement left. Best Zin of the new year!
