Community Tasting Note

Wednesday, June 3, 2015 - Opened 6/3/15, acquired at winery at release. Full bodied, not too much alcohol in taste or smell. Both my wife and I think it is sweeter than it should be. I just get sweet, she declared "too much cherry." Opening a little as we go. Low tannin, no bite, zinfandel taste is solid (72%). Last/only bottle in cellar, but wouldn't buy it, based on sweetness.

6/3/2015 7:22:00 PM - Thanks. We tend to agree with the "sweet" comments. However, we often expect that from California wines despite the bit of age. We still have a bottle that we will wait a while to sip. Still think a pretty good Zin.
