Monday, January 12, 2015 - Not decanted. Dark purple opaque color - doesn't appear like a 9-year old wine. Dense and a bit gritty, but with excellent fruit, a mélange of plum, blueberry and pencil lead. This can definitely go longer. Needs some air, and is nice now as well.
