Saturday, May 21, 2011 - Deep ruby colour with purple rims
Med+ intensity of aromas (dark cherry, crushed blackcurrants, cinnamon, leather, vanilla)
Dry, Med+ acidity/body/alcohol, med tannins (soft and ripe), lovely flavours of black fruits + prune, sweet spices, lead pencil
Excellent wine, concentrated and complex, very good length, a little "hotness" in midpalate but acidity and fruit come back with a vengenace in the finish.
